Event Description
On September 21, 2008 engines will be roaring as riders from all over the tri-state area tour through scenic Burlington County. The American Red Cross of Burlington County is proud to announce the Third Annual MOTORed Event “Honoring the Communities of Burlington County”.
Beginning and ending at Cater 2U on Marne Highway in Mount Laurel, the riders who register will receive a MOTORed t-shirt, Ride for the Red lacquered pin, and have a great time for a nominal donation of only $30 per bike if registering on site that day, $25 per bike if pre-registering and $20 per bike for Military personnel and Veterans. Lunch is $9 per person and $4 for children 10 and under.
Motorcycle units from various towns including Burlington City will be riding along with the new American Red Cross Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) escorted by the New Jersey State Police. The Thunder will roll down Marne Highway and on through Mt. Holly, Wrightstown, New Hanover, Jobstown, Springfield, and West and Eastampton.
It will conclude on the grounds of Cater 2U with a BBQ. Live entertainment will be provided by the band, X PARTIER. There will be other prizes, contests, and chances to win donated items.
Antique and Custom bikes will be on display with trophies for best custom, touring, sport, cruiser, chopper, antique bike, and overall people’s choice. There will also be many vendors with a variety of related material.
